Description
The audit department has an independent advisory and reporting role aimed at improving council operations.
CORE FUNCTIONS
-To test the strength, relevance, assure on existance of systems of internal control level of adherence of all internal systems of control.
-To mitigate on organisational risks, make recommendations for potential changes to operational guideline, procedures and policies.
-To enhence and protect council values by providing risk based and objective assurance, advice and insight.
